Jan Jacobs joined the Pound Buddies team in August 2019 as Campaign Director to lead efforts to build a new animal center. Jan retired from the Office of Philanthropy at Mercy Health Muskegon after over 20 years and is excited about the opportunity to use her experience to raise community funding for the “Unleashing the Possibilities” campaign.

Lynn Jazdzyk has served as a volunteer for Pound Buddies since 2003.  Her work for the organization includes grant writing, fundraising and animal care at the Shelter.  She has served on the Board of Directors since 2012 and has served as Chairperson since 2016.  Lynn is employed by Nobel Biocare as a Territory Manager.

Deborah Matrone is employed as an insurance agent with Waterstone Insurance Agency and has worked in the insurance industry for over forty years. 

Connie Karry has volunteered for Pound Buddies since 1998.  She is retired from Cameron-DynaTorque from her position as Controller.  She currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors.

Tim Updyke is a local entrepreneur and Realtor with Five Star Real Estate. A board member starting in 2020 and also volunteering with walking dogs and fostering dogs since 2019.

Amy Rollston has volunteered at Pound Buddies for over 10 years, helping at the Shelter and fostering dogs. Amy currently serves as Secretary of Pound Buddies Board of Directors. Amy is employed by Kent County as their Director of Human Resources.
